Academies Business Instructor

Maryam is a senior studying Economics. She's mostly been involved with the finance part of businesses and will be working at J.P. Morgan after she graduates. She first taught the business Academies about three years ago and also worked for a small startup during her first year. She's interested in business development, especially for startups and public service organizations, and excited to teach these students as much as she can!
 

Rothsaida S.
Academies Computing Instructor

Rothsaida is a junior at Harvard College. On campus, she has been a Coding Academies instructor for the Harvard Student Agencies, is the President of the Harvard Black Students Association, and was the Mentorship Chair for the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers. Rothsaida also co-hosts and designs the Ron Brown Scholar Program’s “College Transitions Webinar” series that prepares rising college freshmen to navigate college. She has vast experience mentoring many; she is well loved by her peers!

Alvira T.
Academies Medicine Instructor

Alvira is a sophomore at Harvard College planning to concentrate in Neuroscience on the premedical track. Ultimately, she plans to pursue a career as a traveling physician with the goal to expand access to healthcare internationally. At Harvard, Alvira is involved with the Institute of Politics Health Policy team, the Crimson newspaper, and the Bhangra dance team. Her hobbies include sampling diverse international cuisines, going on nature walks with family and friends, and lounging in her hammock with a good read.
